Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting has released a library of free audit data analysis resources designed to move auditors from traditional data sampling to real-time analysis.
Real-time analytics is the direction auditing has been moving in for some time with the introduction of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies into the process.
The library will be regularly updated with content developed by auditors for auditors, including blog posts from subject matter experts, video testimonials from audit professionals who are already leveraging data analytics , and more.
The library will also include guidance on using Wolters Kluwer’s TeamMate Analytics product for audit test automation.
“Many audit firms and professionals still struggle to integrate data analytics into their audit engagements and workflows,” said Colleen Knuff, vice president of audit product management at Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting North America, in a press release. “By launching this growing library of resources, we are helping them better understand how their peers are using audit data analytics to improve audit quality and access practical guidance on how to deliver the insights based on the data their customers expect. ”
