As forensic accountants, we are committed to problem solving and providing clarity on issues that may be overwhelming to the client’s scope. Unlike other areas of accounting, such as auditing services, the disputes we are asked to resolve are often unique. For this reason, having a strong will to solve problems is one of the essential traits in this field.

Additionally, we must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with those we serve. Our investigative and litigation support only becomes meaningful when our work can be properly articulated to those who may not be experts in the field. This includes verbal communication throughout the process, writing skills to craft expert reports, and experience to meet the challenges of one of the most isolated places in the world, the witness box.

What is your favorite part of your job?

What I like best about my job is that our job is rarely boring. We get to analyze and better understand all types of industries and various businesses and individuals and we get to solve real problems. Whether it’s a forensic investigation or an expert witness assignment, our work delivers tangible value by providing our clients with the bottom line. We bring real solutions to complex business problems.
