As part of the Government’s recently launched ‘Free Classes for Jobs’ scheme, West London College is launching the AAT Level 3 Accounting Online and On Campus classes from April 19, 2022 to June 28, 2023. Classroom instruction will take place at our Ealing Green College and can be studied day or night. The course is for people who have achieved AAT Accounting Level 2 and are looking to take their next step at work or further their education. The good news is that many people will be able to study this course for free, saving £2,570 – regardless of their previous qualifications or what they are currently earning – thanks to the new government initiative.
Due to the skill shortage of qualified accountants, West London College has partnered with highly respected training organisation, Conscious education to offer this flexible option. The main areas of study are advanced accounting, indirect taxation, preparation of final accounts, management accounting: costs, ethics for accountants and spreadsheets for accounting.
As part of the government’s Free Skills For Jobs initiative (formerly known as the National Skills Fund), if you meet the following conditions, the course will be free or very affordable.
- If you are 19 or older and this is your first full Level 3 qualification, it will be *FREE*.
- If you are 19 or over and earn less than the national minimum wage, the course will also be free, regardless of your previous qualifications.
- If you already have a Tier 3 qualification and earn more than the national minimum wage, you can take out an Advanced Learning Loan (ALL). There are no credit checks with an ALL and you can repay the loan in manageable monthly installments once your course is completed and you earn over £27,288 a year.
The AAT level 3 diploma will help you progress in your career, take it to the next level and prepare you well for the study of level 4 in accounting.
Alaa Abdulala former Tier 3 student at West London College said:
“I found the AAT Level 3 Accounting Online and On Campus very, very helpful. It covered topics that I use daily in my work as an accountant, including: the language of accounting, financial statements, and management accounting.
Obtaining the qualification allowed me to progress to Arden University to study Accounting and Finance. I would like to continue and study for a masters degree in accounting and in terms of career to get a great position in a big company or bank.
Chardonnay Smithwho also completed it AAT 3 with West London College said:
“The AAT Accounting Level 3 is very thorough and very good. It gave me what I needed to know to progress to my Accounting and Finance degree at Birmingham City University.
When I graduate, I plan to become a consultant or tax advisor because I really enjoy helping others, and I think offering this service is more helpful to businesses and individuals than keeping their books.
Alesan Rodrigues said at the end of his AAT level 3 with West London College:
“Employers really appreciate that you have the AAT Level 3 Accounting Diploma, it is a qualification that they respect. It helped me integrate into my current position as a billing specialist at DHL.
