In 1996 the Volunteer Centre of Toronto created an innovative consumer fraud education and prevention program called the ABCs of Fraud®. This program provides information and tips on identifying and preventing consumer fraud victimization. Our volunteers work hard to raise awareness about frauds in the community.

Neighbour's Night Out

“The Neighbours’ Night Out Program is a fun and easy way to help create a safe community and get to know your neighbours. More than a quarter of million residents have participated throughout in the GTA since the program started in 1985. Neighbours are encouraged to hold small parties with people in their area, on their street or in their buildings.  It’s a great way to get to know your neighbours and build community spirit.

CPAT has been running successful Neighbourhood Watch programs since the early 1980’s and it continues to be one of the most effective crime prevention programs today.
