ABC's of Fraud

In 1996 the Volunteer Centre of Toronto created an innovative consumer fraud education and prevention program called the ABCs of Fraud®. This program provides information and tips on identifying and preventing consumer fraud victimization. Our volunteers work hard to raise awareness about frauds in the community.

Keeping Every Youth Safe

Keeping Every Youth Safe (KEYS) is a program by the Crime Prevention Association of Toronto, designed to teach and equip parents, educators, children and youth with the essential tools they need to proactively maintain safety for themselves in their environment.

Neighbour's Night Out

“The Neighbours’ Night Out Program is a fun and easy way to help create a safe community and get to know your neighbours. More than a quarter of million residents have participated throughout in the GTA since the program started in 1985. Neighbours are encouraged to hold small parties with people in their area, on their street or in their buildings. It’s a great way to get to know your neighbours and build community spirit.

Neighbourhood Watch

CPAT has been running successful Neighbourhood Watch programs since the early 1980’s and it continues to be one of the most effective crime prevention programs today. There have been many changes to this program. With developments in technology we are able to expand our borders and are continuously working to adapt to the needs of every community.

Safe & Secure

The safe and Secure program creates and supports small working groups in vulnerable communities to address issues of crime and safety by partnering residents with local police services, property management, private or public security, public health and other community partners.
