Executive Members

Jeff Paulin - President/Chair

Jeff has been a Board Member with CPAT for 5 years, the past 3 years as the Chair. He has been with Canada Post for the past 23 years. He is also the Federal Returning Officer for the Beaches/East York. Jeff was a member of the Toronto Police Service 55 Division CPLC for the 12 years, the last 10 years serving as the Chair. Jeff is also an active Neighbourhood Watch Block Captain who has annually hosted a Neighbours' Night Out event. Through his work over the years, Jeff has liaised with Toronto Police Services and Community Groups in graffiti eradication by organizing clean up events and providing them with the materials needed for removal. Jeff has 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
 
Jim Davis
- Treasurer
Jim has worked in the Security Industry for the past 35 years. The first 24 years were in the Public Housing sector of the Ontario Government. He has worked for Ontario Power Generation for the past 11 years and is currently the Director of Corporate Security, and Corporate Privacy Officer. Crime  Prevention Association of Toronto staff have worked with Jim since 1984 in a number of different communities due to his work with Public Housing, when he was the Manager of Field Operations. Jim served 11 years on the Victim Services Board of Directors of Toronto Police. He loves to fish, and travel with his wife and three children.
 
Don Cameron- Secretary
Donald M. Cameron is an intellectual property lawyer at Cameron MacKendrick LLP.  He has been involved in ratepayers' and residents' associations in Etobicoke for over 22 years.  Don's involvement in crime prevention began in 1982 when he became a block captain for Neighbourhood Watch.  In 1991, he became a founding Director of the Etobicoke Crime Prevention Association (later renamed the Toronto Crime Prevention Association) and acted as its President until 2005 when it ceased operating and he joined the Board at the Crime Prevention Association of Toronto.

Bill Lytle-Past President
Bill is retired from many years selling paint for Benjamin Moore.  His involvement with the Crime Prevention Association of Toronto was through the Mayor's committee on fraud against seniors in East York and the ABC's of fraud.  Bill was previously the Chair of the CPAT Board of Directors. He keeps very busy as a speaker for the ABC's of Fraud. He is also the President of the Ontario Senior Games Association. He plays golf, curls, sails, and generally enjoys his retirement.  He has been married for 58 years with 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
 
Dorothy Feenan 
Dorothy is retired from a 35 year career in Real Estate as a salesperson and broker. She has done volunteering work for many years, starting with 15 years on the Group Committee of a local Boy Scouts Troop. Other volunteer work included serving on Toronto Real Estate Board committees and with Canadian Cancer Society on their Relay for Life event. Dorothy started working on the ABC's of Fraud Speakers' Program when it was originally with Volunteer Toronto. Dorothy moved with the program when it joined CPAT in 2008. She administers the program for CPAT and gives presentations on various types of Fraud. Dorothy joined the CPAT Board of Directors in May 2009.

Kailai Chen
Kailai Chen is a senior engineer and consultant working full-time for NVIDIA Corporation.  He has volunteered in the past as a facilitator in the Child-to-Child program based in Ottawa for promoting children safety and empowerment in underprivileged neighbourhoods.  He also currently serves as an executive in Net Impact, University of Toronto Rotman School of Management chapter, to foster corporate social responsibility and non-profit ideas and actions at Rotman.
 
Roz Sonshine
Roz is retired from her Gift Service Business. She has spent 11 years coordinating and serving as Captain of Neighbourhood Watch for 345 townhouses. She is also a Volunteer with the Toronto Police Service 33 Division and headquarters and Member of the Civilian Police Liaison Committee. Roz received the John Herra Award from the Toronto Police Service as the Volunteer of the Year 2006 and was voted "Local Hero" by the Town Crier (June 2006 Bayview area edition). Roz gives talks on how to avoid purse snatching to seniors and also distributes pamphlets on Seniors Day. She has two children, four grandchildren and a husband, Bernie, who is always ready to give her a helping hand. She continues to encourage others to volunteer in any capacity.

Aly Virji
Aly grew up in the former City of Scarborough, where he was actively involved in coaching youth sports. Through his employment with the City of Toronto, Aly gained valuable experience working with at-risk youth. During his undergraduate degree at McMaster University, he continued volunteering and was involved in training the university’s varsity athletes. Aly’s dedication and commitment to volunteering was recognized by McMaster University in 2005, when he received the university’s ‘Friends of Distinction Award.’ Aly’s educational background includes; a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice Administration. His knowledge and experience will assist CPAT in their efforts to support, educate and mobilize the community.
 
Samantha Peck
Samantha is the Resource Coordinator for the Family Councils’ Program, a provincial program that facilitates the development and sustainability of Family Councils in Long-Term Care Homes in Ontario. As well, she currently volunteers with the John Howard Society of Toronto, and in the past has volunteered with the Self-Help Resource Centre, Scouts Canada, and York University where she was a peer mentor. She graduated from York University in 2008 with a B.A. in Criminology and Psychology and currently attends Humber College for the Case Management Certificate program.
 
Natalie De Haney-Stewart
Natalie is a former staff member of CPAT and worked on the development of the Keeping Every Youth Safe (KEYS) program which is still in effect today. Currently Natalie works for the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
